DAY ONE

TUNA AND REEF FISH

Our Tuna and Reef fishing day is dependant on where the fish are. We will normally find tuna at either Neptune Island, Wedge Island, Althorpe Island, Cape Borda or Kangaroo Island. Once you have caught enough Tuna for the day we will go Reef fishing on one of the many offshore reef systems for the remainder of the day if you wish. We will travel out wide to the untouched offshore reefs travelling at times 30 – 40 nautical miles offshore. These reef systems, due to being so far offshore are out of the reach of most trailer boats and offer the best chance to encounter some of the big boys, such as Samson Fish, Kingfish and Mako’s, as well as ensuring a good feed of quality table fish to bring home.

DAY TWO

INSHORE REEF FISH

With our Inshore Reef Fishing day we do not travel out as far, instead fishing the closer inshore reefs which can provide a bit more protection from the weather as well as some excellent fishing. These reefs offer some excellent Whiting and Nannygai fishing as well as giving the option of targeting other species such as School and Gummy sharks, Trevally and Squid etc. Due to less travelling time you get more time fishing.

Included : All fishing tackle including quality rods and reels using 15kg mono line and trolling skirt lures for tuna, 50 pound braid for reef fishing. You are more than welcome to use your own gear if you prefer.

There is a daily catch limit of 1 tuna per person per trip. With 8 people on board everyone catches & keeps a tuna.

You get to keep all you catch and as always we are more than happy to show you how to fillet to get you started.
